I am so excited to be included in the blog tour for Ros Clarke's amazing new book The Oil Tycoon and Her Sexy Shiekh. This is a brand new book from the Indulgence line of Entangled Publishing and I loved every moment of it.
His duty, her dreams, undone by their desire...
In the male-dominated oil industry, executive Olivia McInnes plays a careful game - she's cold, uncompromising, and ambitious as hell. Once she seals the deal to drill in the clear waters of Saqat, she'll finally prove herself worthy to take the reins of her father's oil company. Her only obstacle is marine biologist - and Saqat's royal heir - Sheikh Khaled Ibm Saqat al Mayim, who's determined to protect both his people and his country from environmental devastation...
It's not long before Olivia's icy cool exterior is shattered by the intelligent and wickedly hot sheikh, and business is surpassed by sweet, stolen pleasures. But outside the bedroom, there's reality to be faced. Soon Khaled must return to his obligations - and his betrothed - in Saqat.
Caught between duty and ambition, can an oil tycoon and a sexy sheikh find room for love... or will this business deal spell disaster for them both?
I loved this book so much. It is such a fantastic contemporary book that any fan of romance will love

So now we have the very awesome Ros here on the blog today to talk about her new book.
Hi Kayleigh, and thanks so much for inviting me to write a post for your blog!
My latest book, The Oil Tycoon and Her Sexy Sheikh, has a hero who is a marine biologist. He’s passionate about preserving the unique species found in his little bit of the Persian Gulf and the last thing he wants is someone to start drilling for oil out in the clear blue sea he loves. Unfortunately, the woman whose company wants the contract to drill turns out to be wholly irresistible...
It’s tough when you meet someone whose principles are totally the opposite of your own. Imagine two politicians from opposing parties realising they were falling for each other. Or a vegetarian meeting a cattle rancher (if you haven’t read The Pioneer Woman’s story of her romance with her husband, then I definitely recommend it). When I was a teenager I loved Joan Lingard’s stories about Protestant and Catholic teenagers in Northern Ireland falling in love and risking their lives to be together. There’s a reason why the story of Romeo and Juliet is still so powerful. Because although most of us aren’t part of feuding families, we all have our ‘tribes’. We hang out with people who are like us and who see the world in the same sort of way.
Meeting someone from another ‘tribe’ is scary and exciting. It challenges the way you think and forces you to reconsider things you’ve always taken for granted. It can open up a whole new perspective on the world but it can also shake you to your roots. For Khaled and Olivia, it pushes them both to be better people, no matter what the cost.
Have you ever fallen for the ‘wrong’ guy? Do you think two people who are so different can ever really be happy together or will circumstances always pull them apart in the end?

Ros is a writer, a student, a church worker, a crafter, a blogger, a twitterer, a lazy gardener, and an appalling housekeeper. She lives in a sixteenth century shed in England and is very glad that it has twenty-first century plumbing. She is interested in almost everything except cricket and football (US and UK) and mostly she likes happy endings in fiction and in real life.
Ros has been writing stories for as long as she can remember, never dreaming that other people would be interested in reading them. A few years ago, she discovered a writing forum on the internet, and has never looked back. Her head—and her hard drive—are full of ideas for fresh, fun, contemporary romances that she hopes you’ll love as much as she does.
