From Goodreads:
Meghan Chase is finally getting used to being the Iron Queen, ruler of the Iron Fey. Her life may be strange, but with former Winter prince Ash by her side at last, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

But when they travel to the Summer and Winter courts’ gathering for Elysium, the oracle from Meghan’s past returns with a dire prophecy: “What you carry will either unite the courts, or it will destroy them.” Now Meghan faces a devastating choice that may determine the future of all fey—and her and Ash’s unborn child…

Iron's Prophecy, the novella that fits in between the end of the Iron Fey series and the beginning of the Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten series was one that I had been meaning to read for a while. I am a huge fan of the Iron Fey series and I have also read the majority of the Call of the Forgotten series as well. It's a great YA series and I adore those books. I was looking for some novellas to read at the end of 2016 and finally decided to read Iron's Prophecy. It was a good novella and I enjoyed reading it I just didn't feel like it was really necessary to exist.

It was really nice to revisit Meghan and Ash and all of the other characters that I had fallen in love with but I didn't feel like this novella really added anything to the overall story. I quite enjoyed the process of learning what'd happened between the original and spin off series through the characters in the Call of the Forgotten series.

It was enjoyable and I am glad I read it however I feel like I didn't really gain anything from reading it.
